Alpha Netball Club wants you!

Alpha Netball Club are looking for a Level 1 & 2 Qualified Netball Coach. The Level 2 Coach will be Head Coach and the Level 1 Assistant Coach. The Head Coach must have a Level 2 Coaching qualification and the Assistant Coach a Level 1 Coaching qualification. Both will be required to work together to provide a high quality training session.
Alpha consists of 4 squads of 10 players approx per squad; all which attend training on a weekly basis. Training is on Wednesday evening from 7pm until 9pm in South London.
 
Main duties of both coaches;
 
· Create a training programme for the Club for the season which runs from September until May (Head Coach takes lead for this)
 
· The club expects players to retain their own level of fitness so the focus should be more on fitness drills that incorporate skills and tactics
 
· Provide a structured generic training session for all squads for two hour on Wednesday evenings
 
· Pick key themes and initiatives for training sessions
 
· Observe matches at the end of training sessions and give feedback and make recommendations
 
· Be able to recognise talent and support the team ‘mentors’ and ‘captains’ in squad selections
 
· Help assess new players throughout the season and if they’re a good fit for Alpha
 
· We’re keen to develop the club and incorporate an additional coach to support the head coach once appointed.
 
Payment -
 
Head Coach - £20 per hour
Assistant Coach - £10 per hour
